Hi there friend

I'm Anna

I love collaborating with a wide variety of clients, because I know each person is on their own unique journey with food, body image, and exercise.

My area of expertise lies in guiding adults who are facing challenges such as eating disorders, disordered eating patterns, intuitive eating exploration, the aftermath of dieting struggles, emotional eating dilemmas, compulsive exercise habits, negative body image issues, and overall wellness and nutrition concerns.

My focus is on empowering you to forge a deeper connection with yourself.

I approach these matters with a non-diet philosophy, offering support with warmth and understanding.

Letting go of old habits and cultivating new, beneficial ones is a journey that requires dedication and effort. This duration varies widely—some find four months sufficient, while others may need up to two years. Rest assured, I am dedicated to supporting you throughout this transformative process.

Dietitian holds a bachelor's degree in nutrition, complete a supervised internship and pass a nation exam to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or Registered Dietitian (RD).  This credential is regulated by the Commission on Dietetics Registration (CDR) in the USA.
The term nutritionist isn’t regulated and varies widely from state and country.  Due to this unregulated term, anyone can call himself or herself a nutritionist, with no formal training or certification.

The Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) is the premier professional sports nutrition credential in the U.S. Sports Dietitians are experienced registered dietitians who apply evidence-based nutrition knowledge in exercise and sports. They assess, educate, and counsel athletes and active individuals. They design, implement, and manage safe and effective nutrition strategies that enhance lifelong health, fitness, and optimal performance.

I ask for a 24 hour notice by phone or email if your appointment needs to be canceled or rescheduled. No-shows and late-cancels will be charged the full session rate will be auto-charged. A weight-inclusive approach means that we are committed to creating a stigma-free environment for all bodies and that I do not provide counseling for intentional weight loss. The purpose of this approach is to support health and well-being independent of weight status or body shape. It includes individualized, evidence-based tools such as condition-specific nutrition interventions, counseling on relationship with food, and much more. As your behaviors change, your weight may or may not change, but our dietitians never provide a promise of weight change or a restrictive meal plan.

Simply put, absolutely not! Many people who struggle with disordered eating don't fit neatly into diagnostic criteria. If your relationship with food or exercise brings you distress, you are fully deserving of help, no questions asked.

Relative energy deficiency in sport (RED-S) describes a syndrome of poor health and declining athletic performance that happens when athletes do not get enough fuel through food to support the energy demands of their daily lives and training. RED-S can and does affect athletes of any gender and ability level.
